Connect a Google Group to Notion
Many teams use Google Groups (like support@company.com ) as shared mailboxes. While Slap doesn’t sync Google Groups directly - they’re mailing lists, not real mailboxes - you can still connect them to Notion.
How to sync a Google Group
One member of the Google Group (ideally an admin) needs to set up the sync:
- Connect their own mailbox to Slap
- Create a label in Gmail (e.g., “Support Team”)
- Set up a filter in Gmail to automatically apply this label to all emails from or to the Google Group
- In Slap, filter the sync to only include emails with that specific label
Once configured, all emails sent to or from the Google Group will automatically sync with your chosen Notion database.
Only one member needs to sync
You only need one person from the Google Group to set up this sync. Multiple members syncing the same Google Group will create duplicate pages in Notion.
